Stand up comedian Eddie Izzard took to the streets of Haringey to help give the Labour party a boost in the run up to the election.
Staunch Labour supporter Mr Izzard visited Crouch End with Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Hornsey and Wood Green, Catherine West.
He visited shops in the area and discussed everything from legal aid to zero hour contracts.
Ms West said: “It went very well. We had a lot of very interesting questions, including on legal aid, because we have had a lot of cuts. This affects young people, also people with disabilities have also struggled. These were really, really good questions from concerned members of the public.
“We also had a really good question on the rule in the workplace, how standards are deteriorating with zero hour contracts and the minimum wage. We spoke about issues in London like housing too. They are the sort of things people are worried about.”
