A main road has been closed due to a burst water main, and is not expected to open until 5pm.
The A217 Bishopsford Road southbound in Mitcham has been closed since approximately 12pm today due to the burst water main.
There is also no access available to Wandle Road.
Temporary traffic lights are in place while emergency repairs are carried out in Wandle Road.
This is just down the road from where a Thames Water pipe burst in Mitcham Road earlier in the month, leaving thousands of residents without water for several hours.
