Elderly and vulnerable people are among thousands of people who have had no water today after a burst water pipe caused havoc in the borough.
Thames Water has provided bottled water to some households, and have said that if water is not restored after 12 hours they will supply bottled water to customers who contact them.
However, some residents are concerned that water is not yet back on.

The cause of the leak is still unknown, and Thames Water have estimated that water will be returned within two to three hours.
A spokesperson for the council said: "The council's emergency planning team has been liasing with Thames Water and is on standby should any appropriate action need to be taken to look after any vulnerable people as a result of the water supply being cut off."
The council has also closed Pollards Hill Library until further notice.
