Letter to the Editor: Sadler Close is a lot better than it used to be

I am writing in response to your attempt at a moral panic article (Is this Merton’s most crime-ridden estate, March 5). You couldn’t be more further from the truth.  As someone who has lived on the Sadler Close for over 20 years, things are a lot better right now than they used to be. I’m not saying it’s crime-free (what estate in London is) but certainly nowhere near as bad as your article tries to portray. I think it’s sad that the local paper always tries to paint Mitcham in such a negative light.
