Letter to the Editor: Whatever happens at stadium, please find a place for St John Ambulance
Listening to the gossip for some time, within my membership of St. John Ambulance in south west London of a future for a newer Wimbledon Stadium.
Then having had the opportunity to visit the present structure several years ago It is very overdue a makeover.
It would be good if there's still a place for the current supporters of St John Ambulance to meet close by when construction work does commence by 2017, or early. As, if l do recall, meetings are held in the boardroom every Wednesday evening.
A long association that I hope will continue.
