Harlequins winger Charlie Walker's first half score helped keep his side in the hunt reach the Heineken Cup's last eight with a 17-3 win over Racing Metro.

The 20-year-old, who scored against the Frenchmen in Paris last week, crossed to add to three Nick Evans penalties as Quins led 14-0 at half-time.

Visiting fly half Jonny Sexton got his side on the scoreboard in the second half, but Ben Botica responded with a kick of his own to ensure Quins were never in any trouble.

Director of rugby Conor O'Shea's men next host Pool Four leaders Clermont Auvergne in January knowing a bonus point win will put them in the driving seat for qualification to the knock out stages.
