Terry Brown admits he is starting "to run out of patience" with midfielder Wes Daly as the former QPR man continues to stall on committing his future to AFC Wimbledon.

The Dons manager has made it clear to Daly that he wants the diminutive midfielder to stay at Kingsmeadow as his new look squad try to sustain a promotion assault next season.

However, Daly has made it clear he wants a move to a full-time club and will only stay at the Dons if he is not offered that chance by a club at a higher level.

And now Brown has revealed that he is becoming increasingly annoyed at Daly's delay: "I'm running out of patience with the whole Daly situation to be honest. I speak to his agent regularly and he always tells me he is going to phone me back but never does.

"I'm going to give him a deadline of early next week for him to make a decision."

Should Daly decide his future is away from Kingsmeadow the club would be entitled to a fee as the 23-year-old is still on contract.
