Harrow Borough faced off against Corinthian Casuals in the final friendly before both teams' seasons get under way, with Harrow getting the better of the exchanges in a thouroughly entertaining game.

Harrow started the stronger with Kurt Morlese heading a near post corner just over. Ben Dyett then stabbed the ball wide when a cross was allowed to travel too far in the six yard box. On 14 minutes Morlese was involved again side footing home from a fine whipped in cross which keeper Luke Naughton did well to get a hand to, but could not stop it from crossing the line. Minutes later another low cross curled in by David Ijaha was missed by two Harrow forwards who only needed a fient touch to find the net.

Borough's best player Kenta Nakashima got the ball on the edge of the box, wriggled past a defender and hit a shot destined for the top corner until Naughton superbly tipped over. Casuals were level with their first meaningful attack on 24 minutes when Scott Corbet won the ball in midfield and played through to Mu Mann who superbly curled the ball over the advancing keeper.

The score was only level for six minutes as Morlese nodded home after a corner was headed back into the six yard box by Danny Leach.

Two quick goals early in the the second half gave Harrow a convincing lead. On 49 minutes Ronyane Marsh-Brown won the ball and played a one two behind the Casuals defence and his low cross was knocked in at the far post by Kenta Nakashima. Four minutes later Morlese was played through by Ryan Watts and his miss-hit shot was deflected home by an unlucky lunging Darren Chalke for an own goal.

A few substitutions and suddenly Casuals looked more dangerous going forward . Eddie Koboah got the ball on the left, cut inside and his low shot whislted just wide. Joe Nwoko played and impressive Robbie Burns through, who dummied a defender but stumbled as he rounded the keeper and was just beaten to the ball before he could recover to score. With a quarter of an hour remaining Casuals pulled one back when Danny Green's free-kick picked out Chalke who headed home. Green's fine free-kick was turned over by Nick Jupp as the home team probed for the equaliser in the final minute.
