Whyteleafe and Tunbridge Wells played out an uninspiring 0-0 draw where the only talking point was a double sending off.
Moreover, injury meant Leafe ended the Kent League Premier Division game at Church Road with nine men, while Wells ended the 90 minutes with 10.
The early exchanges created few openings for either team, but just before the break, Leafe keeper Joe McLoughlin was fouled while diving at the feet of Joe Fuller and Leafe defender Adam Broomhead was sent off for confronting the Wells' striker.
The referee then showed Wells' John Pilbeam a straight red for back-chat and both sides were minus a man.
After the break, a lot of huff and puff created little, and when Leafe striker Paul Scott had to leave the pitch injured, and with all the substitutions already made, the nine remaining Leafe players were content to hold on for the point.
Leafe host Guernsey in the FA Vase on October 13.
