Croydon Harriers' senior men completed their 2010 track and field campaign with a solid fourth place finish at the Rosenheim League cup final at Tooting last Wednesday, writes Matthew Kiernan.

Competing against teams up to four divisions higher than them in the Southern League, it was Croydon’s Richmond Baah who led the way with a season's best of 54.09m in the javelin to take the spoils against tough opposition.

Elsewhere, Oweka Wanogho excelled to a new lifetime best in the 100m with a 10.83 seconds clocking for second, a result which puts him 10th in the U20 UK rankings.

The 18 year-old backed this up with a third in the 200m in 22.00.

Sheldon Brown was another runner-up in the triple jump with a 13.03m effort, while Scott Fanner doubled up in the 400m (56.0secs) and 800m (2:06.83) with a pair of fourths.

There were also good scoring showings from Alan Burn (1500m, seventh), Nic Gould (3000m, sixth), Jaran Finn (2km steeplechase, seventh) and Andy Del Nevo (high jump, fifth).

It was left to the 4x200m relay team of Fanner, Kennoy Lindsay, Darren Wollen and Clarence Riley to bring the curtain down on the season, finishing fifth in 1.38.24.

Non-scoring support came from Colin Oxlade (2km steeplechase, 7.45.17), Darren Wollen (100m, 11.35secs), Kennoy Lindsay (200m, 25.26secs), Patrick Lucas (800m, 2.03.71 PB), Clarence Riley (100m, 12.37secs) and Jack Thoroughgood (800m, 2:10.23).
