Rising boxing star Anthony Ayinde says he is leading the perfect lifestyle to ensure he fulfils his title ambitions next month.

The 22-year-old kingston fighter will meet long-term rival Ashley Dansie for the vacant Queensbury Boxing League’s Novice Welterweight title at the Epsom Downs Racecours after their original showdown was postponed due to Ayinde suffering a broken rib in training.

Ayinde has strung together an impressive run of victories in the competition since his first and only loss against Dansie on his Queensbury debut back in September of 2013.

And he is confident of crushing Dansie this time around.

“After seeing Ashley in action in his last fight there was nothing to worry me at all,” he said.

“When I met Dansie on my debut I had taken the fight at only 10 days notice and you could see from my performance as the rounds progressed I just wasn’t fit enough.

“But this time I’m leading the perfect lifestyle and have a great team behind me so I’ll be more than ready.

“We’ve both come a long way since that first fight and are both more experienced in the league, but I really believe I’ve come on far more than Ashley has, and I’ll be surprised if he lasts the full fight when we meet again.

“I’m 100 per cent confident that I’ve got the power to stop him this time around, and I know it will be my hand raised with the belt around my waist one the on September 27.”
