This summer’s Mitcham Carnival promises to be a family-friendly extravaganza of entertainment, food and fun. The much-anticipated carnival will be held on Three Kings Piece, Commonside West, Mitcham, on Saturday June 10 from 12pm to 5pm.

This year’s attractions include main stage and arena entertainment, British Empire wrestling, a dog show, a family fun fair, more than 100 charity and trade stalls and a range of food and refreshments.

Bookings are now being taken for stalls from charities or businesses who want to be part of the day, with a 10% discount offered for booking at both the carnival and Morden Family Fun Day on Sunday July 16. Please check the Merton Council website for details.

Cabinet member for community and culture Councillor Nick Draper said: “Mitcham Carnival will be a fantastic event this year, and is not to be missed. I am excited about the impressive line-up of events that are planned which will no doubt make 2017 a year to remember.”
