Mr and Mrs Patel retire after 42 years of owning and running Shalini News on Church Road, Mitcham. Providing a lengthy service to local customers, they have seen many changes in the local area, customer base and their local shop.
First purchasing the business in the 1970's and raising a family in the flat above the shop, their 3 children have now grown up and have families of their own of which they want to spend their retirement with.
