A Streatham Hill modeling agency has defended its plan to hire out a Madeleine McCann lookalike.
Juliet Adams model agency boss Shona Adams says pitching Madeleine lookalike, three-year-old Kelsey Lynn Kudla, is "not sinister - it's entertainment".
According to the Sun, Ms Adams hopes talk of a Madeleine movie could have the toddler in the running for a £9million pay day, of which she would take 20 per cent.
She shrugged off criticism it could hurt Madeleine's parents Gerry and Kate, saying there was nothing they could do in a democracy.
Ms Adams found the lookalike after Kelsey's mum emailed her from the US saying she had been stopped seven times in one day by people pointing out how similar her daughter was to the missing tot.
Ms Adams said she had received approaches from more than 100 would-be doubles.
McCann spokesman Clarence Mitchell said the lookalike plan was "disgraceful, hurtful and offensive".
