A 69-year-old Isleworth man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead at a home in Aylett Road.
Police were called to the Aylett Road address just before 7am yesterday where they found the body of a 77-year-old woman.
A postmortem examination yesterday found the woman had died from blunt trauma to the head.
John Griffin, 69, of Aylett Road, Isleworth, is due to appear in custody at Feltham Magistrates' Court today charged with murder.
Police have yet to release the name of the dead woman. An inquest is expected to be opened soon.
