A 10-year-old girl from Rosehill is cutting off her long blonde hair for charity.

Laura Honeyman, who attends Muschamp Primary, will raise money for the Children’s Cancer Recovery Project on October 27 when she chops her long locks off.

Laura was born with a congenital heart defect and has had several heart operations.

A charity night will be held at Bishopsford Social Club in Morden at 7.30pm where she will be having her hair cut at 9pm by a professional hairdresser.
