Fancy dress dodgeballers raise thousands for charity
About 600 fundraisers descended on Wimbledon Park on Saturday to throw balls at each other in fancy dress.
The Mencap dodgeball championships on September 1 saw competitors try their hand at the unusual American sport - which sees two teams of players at opposite ends of a court throw ball at their opponents to eliminate them from the game.
The event raised £23,000 last year and the organisers said they hope to better it this year.
