Police were called to an address on Sherwood Park Road in Pollards Hill
A man has been charged after stabbing a mother and her 11-year-old son.
Police were called to an address on Sherwood Park Road in Pollards Hill at 10.30am on August 21.
The boy and 39-year-old woman were taken to hospital as a priority with stab wounds described by police as serious but not life threatening and are now reported to be in a stable condition.
Kumaran Kanesh, 37, appeared before South West London Magistrates today charged with two counts of GBH and two counts of false imprisonment.
He has been committed to Kingston Crown Court to appear at a later date.
