Protests over proposed DVLA closure in Wimbledon
Workers at Wimbledon’s DVLA office collected hundreds of signatures as they protested against job cuts on Friday.
The DVLA intends to close 39 local offices by the end of 2013, including Alexandra Road, Wimbledon.
Unions said the closures would put 1,200 jobs at risk nationally and cause inconvenience for customers.
