A man was hit by a train at Wimbledon station last night.
An ambulance service spokesman said the 35-year-old man suffered head and arm injuries, and was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting as an emergency patient. They said he was conscious when he was taken to hospital.
The incident, at about 8.30pm yesterday (December 20), caused travel disruption with trains delayed and some services not calling at the Wimbledon Bridge Road station. Normal service was resumed by about 11pm.
