Three more arrests have been made as police hunt the killers of a father stabbed in Pollards Hill on Saturday (October 22).

Today police said an 18-year-old woman and 16-year-old boy were arrested last night, while a 17-year-old boy was arrested this morning - all on suspicion of murder.

Akilankular Kanthasamy was stabbed to death outside the New Horizons Community Centre in South Lodge Avenue, where he was attending a friend's child's birthday party, at about 11.30pm on Saturday.

Police said a 16-year-old boy arrested in relation to the crime on Monday (October 24) has been released on bail.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Dunne of the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command said: "I am appealing to anyone who was in or around the South Lodge Avenue area on Saturday night and who may have seen or heard anything around the time of the incident to call our incident room."
