Colliers Wood Chorus is taking part in an international choral festival this weekend. The Sangerstevne is a Norwegian idea for choirs to come together to entertain each other and the public rather than compete, and fits in well with the diverse range of things we sing. There will be four concerts in a row at St Matthew's Church, Ealing on Saturday, and we are excited to be opening the first one, starting at noon. On Sunday there are simultaneous concerts at various venues in London, and we will be at St Peter's, Vauxhall, with Carmina Romana, a French Romanian choir from Paris. This concert starts at 2:30 and like the others, is free. collierswoodchorus.org.uk Based on information supplied by Matthew Marks.
