Ken Livingstone, who is running for London Mayor next year against Boris Johnson, has hit out at claims he 'lost the suburbs' last time out.
The Labour Party candidate was in Sutton this week and stopped in at the new South London Guardian offices to answer your questions.
And in response to a question on whether he had lost suburbs such as Sutton, Kingston and Croydon at the last mayoral election, he asked voters to look at his record.
He said: "Well, it [the accusation he lost the suburbs] was certainly one of Boris' campaign themes but it's nor borne out by the facts."
Policing and transport improvements he introduced, said Mr Livingstone, had been destroyed since Boris became mayor.
The improved tram link to Crystal Palace and beyond was among plans he said had suffered under the Conservative mayor.
