Snow and ice have made sure the Christmas holidays start early for some Merton schoolchildren.
Two days of lessons have been called off at two primary schools. Malmesbury Primary in Morden and Haslemere Primary in Mitcham will close for the last two days of term, today and tomorrow, because of the winter weather.
St Mark's Primary in Mitcham and Hatfeild Primary in Morden are also closed today - no other schools are reporting unplanned closures. Term ended at many of the borough's schools last week.
