Michelle Keegan was spotted tucking into a curry in Mitcham last week as she appeared to enjoy a quiet evening with friends.
The glamorous former Coronation Street star - who is currently starring in the BBC drama Ordinary Lies - ordered a chicken tikka at Chak89 in Bond Road on Friday night.
Restaurant owner Frank Khalid said: "She enjoyed her meal at Chak89 and everyone got to meet her.
"Really nice lady and she is looking to bring [her fiance] Mark Wright with her next time."
Keegan is not the first celebrity to go to the award-winning curry house - Lindsay Lohan, Mo Farah and Danny Dyer have all eaten there.

The restaurant complex, which also includes several banqueting halls, has 24-hour security and private parking.
On Tuesday night former prime minister Tony Blair was among senior politicians at a Labour Party fundraising gala hosted at Chak89.
