A TEAM of Glasgow doctors has lifted the top honour in a competition to encourage Scottish innovation.
David Keating and Stuart Parks of the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology at Gartnavel developed a revolutionary eye test that could let doctors detect patients' sight problems before they start to go blind.
Their discovery was voted the best new idea from the NHS in the Scottish Enterprise Life Sciences Awards at a ceremony on Edinburgh last week.
