In-store from Thursday 11th to Sunday 14th December. There will be plenty of special birthday offers across all areas of the store, so visitors will be able to pick up a bargain on anything from sofas and dining tables to washing machines and DVD players.

BHF Area Manager, John Wendels, says, “We’ve enjoyed a fantastic ten years of business in the Mitcham Furniture & Electrical store. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our loyal customers and volunteers who really make this store special and help the BHF fund its life-saving research.”

“We are looking forward to welcoming even more customers in the Mitcham store and making the forthcoming years equally as successful! We’re always in need of stock, so if you’re having a clear out, join the fight for every heartbeat today and help fund life-saving research into heart disease with your donations.”

Coronary heart disease is one of the UK’s biggest killers and around 147 people in the borough of Merton die from it each year. To date, the BHF has provided funding for 4 defibrillators across the borough. There are also 13 member organisations of the BHF Health at Work scheme and a BHF heart support group in Merton.

Located at 263-265 London Road, Mitcham CR4 3NH, the Furniture & Electrical store offers a wide range of household items (brand new and donated) such as beds, sofas, dining tables and chairs, TVs, washing machines and small electrical items. 100% of the profits raised from sales goes into the fight against heart disease and funds the BHF’s life-saving research.
