Police continue to search for a man charged with burglary after he went missing from a mental health hospital last month.
Police are still trying to track down Oliver Cooper, of Hilary Avenue, Mitcham, who absconded from Springfield University Hospital in Tooting after being sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
The 33-year-old man was arrested by police on Friday, September 12, following a burglary in Pepys Road, Wimbledon.
A spokesman for South West London and St George's Mental Health Trust, which runs Springfield University Hospital, said the trust is working with police to ensure their patient's safe return.
The appeal comes after the Wandsworth Guardian revealed more than 80 patients have gone missing from the hospital in the past four years.
He has been missing for about two weeks.
Have you seen Cooper? Police are advising the public not to approach him but to call 999 if seen.
