A woman battling cancer has completed a ten hour marathon walk alongside her closest friends.
Jennie Allen and 39 others walked 26 miles along the south coast to Beachy Head less than two months after Ms Allen finished chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.
She has raised more than £3,200 for the Royal Marsden Hospital where she had treatment, and wants to pay for a cold cap worth £4,000 which she said helps women keep their hair when going through chemotherapy.
Ms Allen, who owns deli Bayley & Sage in High Street, Wimbledon Village, said: "I am lucky to be totally in remission.
"I have done a lot of trekking before, but not since I was sick.
"We stopped for a cream tea along the way, it was not very tough."
Ms Allen, who was diagnosed in July last year, wants to continue fundraising for the charity and hold annual events to do so.
