Wimbledon fire station will be holding a community open day to give residents an insight into the working life of a fire station.

Fire fighters, police officers and St John’s Ambulance will be on hand to give fire safety, first aid and crime prevention advice, while younger guests will be able to have a look inside a working engine.

There will also be a range of live displays throughout the day.

The free event will be held at Wimbledon fire station, Kingston Road, on Saturday, September 7, from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Lower Green West (Mitcham Fire Station) to Kingston Road, Wimbledon Fire Station.
Both fire Stations serve the Borough of Merton.
