Curry is not usually considered an aphrodisiac but a newly-opened takeaway is aiming to change the reputation of Britain’s favourite dish.
Monkeys Indian Takeaway, Merton High Street, Wimbledon, is giving away complimentary condoms with each order - in the hopes of giving customers more for their money.
The restaurant is the first to offer customers the ‘Pop-on-a-dom’ extra, after a JUST EAT survey showed 64 per cent of Britons said they think they ‘get lucky’ more often after spending date night on the sofa.
Owner of Monkeys, Shamim Miah, said: "We help our customers take it easy and give themselves the night off by taking care of the cooking - not only that, but many curry spices are aphrodisiacs.
"If feeling liberated and trying something spicy means that one thing leads to another, then we’re happy to help with precautions too."

JUST EAT’s research showed bank holidays prove particularly amorous and a quarter of adults said they have more sex over a long weekend.
More than a third of the 2,000 adults surveyed said they are more likely to end up having sex if they don’t have the hassle of cooking, while 14 per cent have had sex between ordering a takeaway and its arrival.
Managing director of JUST EAT Graham Corfield said: "When you free yourself of the burden of cooking, you have time for much better things.
"The ‘pop-on-a-dom’ programme will just help stave off any unintended consequences."
