London Air Ambulance, were called to Gorringe Park Avenue in Mitcham after a boy was knocked down by a van
A man has been arrested after a young boy was knocked down by a van.
Ambulance crews, including the London Air Ambulance, were called to Gorringe Park Avenue in Mitcham just before 11.30am on Monday.
A 12 year-old boy was treated for a head injury thought not to be life threatening and was taken to St George’s Hospital.
The A217 London road was closed southbound for several hours while emergency crews cleared the scene.
The man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
