Colin Farrell has said he is “addicted” to massages.
The actor, 38, told Conde Nast Traveller that he enjoys the treatments because he’s so physical.
Asked about his favourite spa treatment, he told the magazine: “Massages. It’s tragic, I’m actually addicted to massages.
“A lot of that is to do with touch because I love being touched – I’m a big hugger.
“I love a good hug and a two-handed handshake that nearly turns into a handhold.”
And Colin’s love of pampering doesn’t stop there. He said: “I also like saunas – there is a Russian bathhouse that I go to in Los Angeles.
“It’s a nice way to kill a couple of hours because life can be hectic,” he said.
“To go somewhere for a while and sit in a quiet space, it’s therapeutic.”
Colin said that he wouldn’t wish going to the gym “on my worst enemy” but that “money is a great motivator”, adding: “I do it because sometimes the job dictates that I must.”
His comments come after the Hollywood heartthrob revealed that he had not dated for four years. The Irish sex symbol and former hellraiser told the Sunday Times he has been too busy working and looking after his sons to find time to look for love.
“I have not dated for, ooh, four years now. It’s just not happening, what with the work, the kids and my life,” he said.
