The Kristin Hjellegjerde / ARTECO Gallery in Wandsworth’s Old York Road is showing an exhibition of new work by young London painter Celina Teague.
In Search of Lost Space explores how personal space is affected by global issues, through a series of diverse and striking paintings that reflect both the artist’s emotions and her political values.
Teague’s work has previously been shown at London’s Roa and Rook & Raven Galleries, as well as in group exhibitions around the world.
The ARTECO Gallery was opened in 2012 by art blogger Kristin Hjellegjerde, who is keen to showcase up-and-coming artists from around the world and get people excited about art with free exhibitions.
About this latest show she says: "These are fun, energetic and vibrant paintings, full of colour and life, as well as interesting storytelling and depth. They are not to be missed."
