The Masks We Wear looks at the way we mask, hide, cover and present ourselves.
ArtEco Gallery presents the work of 12 contemporary emerging and established artists.
Different forms of art make up the whole gallery including paintings, installations, sculpture and mixed media.
Andrea Francolino’s quirky artwork combines household items with the faces of dictators and world leaders, which originally inspired the exhibition.
Artists Bongsu Park and Marco Querin use the female form as their starting point.
Park looks at the individual emerging through a process of birth and creation, while Querin uses the subject of the burqa.
Curator and gallery founder Kristin Hjellegjerde says: “Francolino’s work is fun yet politically intriguing.”
