Here's how the Brentford players rated in their 2-2 draw with Cardiff City.

David Raya 7

Made a great stop to deny a long-range Callum Paterson effort in the first half, but could do little with City’s first two goals. Targeted with the high ball, but performed admirably.

Rico Henry 6

Got forward plenty but his final delivery needs to improve. Found it tough up against the pacey Adomah and the physical nature of Sanderson at right back.

Ethan Pinnock 6

Looked too laid back at times and you feel he needs a more experienced man beside him. Battled gamely against the physical Paterson, winning his fair share of headers.

Henrik Dalsgaard 6

Questioned will be asked about his back post defending after conceding two from similar positions. Didn’t get as forward as often as he usually does but made one telling contribution for Racic’s opener, a lovely lay-off.

Luka Racic 7

Neat finish to bag his first for the club. Showed great pace to track Hoilett when through on goal and looks ready to step up to the plate.

Christian Norgaard 8

The one player (Benrahma aside) Thomas Frank can’t lose. Willing to put his foot in where some other Bees’ midfielders wouldn’t.

Emiliano Marcondes 5

He has the talent but doesn’t look like he’s committed to the cause. Misplaced too many passes and didn’t show the desire of someone wanting to cement a place in Thomas Frank’s XI.

Josh Dasilva 7

Offered a drive in midfield that we haven’t seen in recent weeks from him. Still guilty of holding on to possession too long but carried the side up the field well.

Bryan Mbeumo 7

Delicious free-kick and looked to be getting back to his early season form. Showed great touches to get the Bees on the front foot but needs to do it on a more consistent basis.

Said Benrahma 7

Looked the most likely to pick the killer pass but there seems to much expectancy from his teammates to deliver. Forced two great saves from Smithies from long range but couldn’t find that stardust he was showcasing earlier in the season.

Ollie Watkins 6

Found life tough up against the giants of the City backline. Some neat hold up play in patches but drifted in and out of the tie too much.

Shandon Baptiste 6

Picked up a yellow card almost as soon as he came on and took a nasty knock which forced him off late on.
