Here's how we rated Brentford's players in their 3-1 win against Barnsley.

David Raya - 6 - First goal was simply very good, Woodrow hit it so well. He was lucky Jansson bailed him out after rushing out from goal to win the ball. Dealt with Barnsley's pressure well.

Henrik Dalsgaard - 6 - Saw his interception roll to Woodrow for the game's first goal and rode his luck when tussling with Mallik Wilks in the box when he came on. Overall, he defended well and had a couple decent moments going forward.

Pontus Jansson - 7 - Was in the right place at the right time, anchoring the heart of the defence. Spared Raya's blushes and cut out a dangerous ball into the box that could have been costly.

Julian Jeanvier - 7 - Helped to stifle Woodrow in the second half after he caused Brentford problems in the opening exchanges. Fortunately for him, his nasty tangling with Alex Mowatt did not result in anything more.

Rico Henry - 6 - Luke Thomas did prove to be a tough customer, with his clever movement and tough running, but Henry was up to the challenge.

Christian Norgaard - 8 - Excellent. Faced a tall order playing out of Barnsley's high press but, once Brentford got into the game, he operated really well from the base of midfield. Tracked back superbly and won a lot of challenges.

Mathias Jensen - 7 - His cross into Watkins was superb, so well delivered. Could have had a goal himself had his deflected effort dipped just a little bit more. Assisted the assist for Watkins' second. Replaced with Josh Dasilva.

Kamohelo Mokotjo - 6 - Had a difficult start, where he struggled to move the ball forward and lost some duels, but seemed to recover from it. Was set to come off but Jensen was replaced instead after he picked up a knock.

Sergi Canos - 8 - Barnsley full back Jordan Williams, who is only 19, had a torrid day trying to cover him. Had Canos not been caught offside so often it could have been a lot worse. Assisted two of Watkins' three strikes.

Said Benrahma - 8 - A dazzling performance once again from Benrahma. He teased the defenders with his skills and trickery but also should have scored - and had a couple good chances to do so. Still impressive.

Ollie Watkins - 10 - He has taken on the mantle of centre forward really well and this was arguably his best performance yet. Worked himself into good positions, helped engineer attacking moves and Barnsley's defence could not keep him quiet.
