Corinthian-Casuals completed the league double over Leatherhead coming from behind to win 2-1 on Saturday.
And it marks an unbeaten start to 2019 for James Bracken’s side, who’d targeted four points from the first two games of the year.
Corinth fell behind to an early Jazz Wallace tap-in. Keeper Danny Bracken could only parry Shaun Okojie’s fierce shot and Leatherhead’s debutant was fastest to react.
However, Casuals grew into the game and were deservedly level on the half hour mark when Gabriel Odunaike rounded off a sharp counter-attack.
And it was Odunaike who was on target once again converting a cross from close range to give his side all three points. The result sees Casuals leapfrog their opponents in the league table, moving them up to 13th – just six points outside the playoff places.
Casuals will need to be at their best to continue the unbeaten start to the year as they travel to Enfield Town on Saturday. Their hosts handed the Tolworth-outfit their biggest defeat this season when they were thumped 6-1 in September.
