Millwall cruised to a 4-1 win in their season finale against Huddersfield. There was nothing for either side to play as the game was played at a slow pace.

There were chances for fringe and youth players for both sides as they brought their season’s to a close.

Here’s how the players rated:

Bartosz Bialkowski – 6

A very quiet day at the office for Bart after a very busy Saturday.

James Brown – 6

First league start for Brown, but an uneventful one. Solid on the right but with little opportunity to shine.

Shaun Hutchinson – 6

Solid as ever and looked more comfortable in the back four alongside Cooper.

Jake Cooper – 7

Finally, a towering Cooper header from a corner. Another superious display from Millwall’s best centre back. Could he be off in the summer?

Murray Wallace – 6

No getting past him but didn’t offer much going forward.

Jayson Molumby – 6

It’s a shame that there were no fans in the stadium to bid farewell to the young Irishman. A genuine talent who has given all this season, but his first senior campaign ends quietly.

Shaun Williams – 7

The game was played at a slow pace, plenty of time for Williams to keep the ball and recycle possession. A safe pair of hands.

Connor Mahoney – 9

His best display in a Millwall shirt, especially in the second half. Scored a well taken goal and provided a consistent threat. The first time he has imposed himself on a game since Luton. Let’s hope it’s a sign of things to come next season.

Ben Thompson – 6

Little impact on the game for a player who has never reached full fitness since the restart.

Shane Ferguson – 6

Not much impact on the game but kept up his decent form down the left.

Matt Smith – 6

Lead the line well and caused some problems for the Huddersfield defence.

Subs:

Jiri Skalak – N/A

Hayden Muller – N/A

Billy Mitchell – N/A

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson – N/A

Tyler Burey – N/A

Debuts for both Burey and Muller, both are players to watch who will be looking to make an impact next year. Goals of the bench from Bodvarsson and Skalak, both of whom have question marks over their futures at the club.
