Millwall are fighting with Premier League clubs to land Woking youngster Oliver Creed.

West Ham, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Southampton as well as fellow Championship outfit Brentford are battling the Lions for the highly rated 16-year-old.

The central defender has yet to feature for the non-league side this season but impressed enough during pre-season to alert top-flight clubs.

Millwall have been watching the youngster and are thought to leading the race to land Creed along with arch-rivals West Ham United.

Despite his young years, Creed has established himself as part of the Woking first team set-up and is due to sign a professional contract soon.

Woking secured promotion from the National League South division last season and have started life well in the Conference, sitting seventh, just five points off top spot.

If Millwall do land Creed, he would be the second young defender the Lions would've signed from non-league this year after Harry Ransom, 20, left Eastbourne Borough for The Den earlier in the year.
