Here's how we rated Charlton's players in their preseason defeat to Gillingham at Priestfield Stadium.

Dillion Phillips - 6 - Could have got down faster for the first two goals, but his defence should not have allowed the shots on goal to begin with. List's third was not his fault.

Anfernee Dijksteel - 6 - Struggled to adjust to the wing back position in the opening minutes but benefited most from the transition to a traditional flat back four.

Tom Lockyer - 5 - A poor performance from the former Bristol Rovers captain. Lost the majority of his aerial battles against Mikael Ndjoli and gave the ball away cheaply to allow Elliott List to score the third.

Naby Sarr - 6 - Slotted in at left back following Page's injury and looked out of place. He was caught drifting back into the centre, leaving Gillingham acres of space to exploit. Hit the free-kick that rebounded off the post for Aneke's equaliser.

Jason Pearce - 7 - The most commanding of the three centre backs on the pitch and came to Naby Sarr's rescue on the left-hand side one too many times. Could have got over quicker to deny the Ndjoli goal int the second half.

Lewis Page - N/A - Substituted after 10 minutes due to a suspected hamstring injury. Replaced with Jonny Williams.

Albie Morgan - 5 - Picked out Macauley Bonne with a spectacular pass during the opening exchanges, but the teenager failed to follow it up with a performance we know he is capable of.

Darren Pratley - 6 - A typical Pratley-like performance. He sat deep and allowed his experience to read the game. Put in some solid tackles, enabling Charlton to play out from the back.

Chuks Aneke - 7 - Marked his first Charlton goal with a powerful shot to bring his new team back level. Commanded every Charlton attack with his strength but was taken off prematurely after clutching his hamstring.

Macauley Bonne - 6 - Portrayed great abilities that a striker should have. The former O's forward has pace, strength and can generate power from headers. However, the final product was not there, as it's clear he is still adjusting to his new surroundings.

Lyle Taylor - 6 - Was his usual energetic self and ran the channels well, allowing both Aneke and Bonne to make up the numbers in the penalty area.

Jonny Williams - 8 - Gave Charlton an extra dimension in the final third when he came on. Put in some dangerous deliveries and effortlessly skipped past Gills players. Head and shoulders above the rest.
