We are holding a 24 hour table tennis marathon here at the Merton Dementia Hub to raise funds for a colleague who is the service administrator for Wandsworth Alzheimer's Society.
In 2016 she developed Motor Neuron disease which has progressed very quickly and we are hoping to raise as much money as possible to help with her care and support for her and her family.
The idea is to get friends and family to sponsor people to take part in the table tennis marathon. Even if people would rather not play table tennis please come along and be a cheerleader.
It takes place at 1pm on Friday 1st September and 1pm on Saturday 2nd September at Merton Dementia Hub, Whitford gardens, Mitcham, CR4 4AA.
