The four-year-old girl was taken to hospital by parademics after being resuscitated by a lifeguard working at the David Lloyd Gym and Fitness Centre, in Bushey Road, at about 3.10pm yesterday.

She is believed to making a full recovery after she was found to be unresponsive in an outdoor swimming pool.

“We have personally contacted the family to enquire about her welfare and understand that she is making a full recovery, and would like to take this opportunity to wish her well.

“David Lloyd Leisure takes the health and safety of its members extremely seriously and the incident is being investigated by the club.”
