Sainsbury's Morden is pleased to announce that they will be in partnership with their Charity of the year for another year.
Cricket Green in Mitcham is a school for pupils aged 5 to 19 years with learning difficulty. During its' supportive year June 2011 to May 2012, in addition to raising cash through customer participation and instore activities, Sainsbury's Morden has been supportive by giving work experience placements to 3 of Cricket Green's students so far.
With a new year of support ahead, there are further plans to assist more of their students with work experience placements. So far one such placement has been secured for the beginning of the Autumn term.
Staff at Sainsbury's Morden are delighted to be able to support such a fantastic school.
Though the school is appreciative of any funds that can be given in these financially challenged times, it has been indicated by teachers at Cricket Green that the opportunities for work experience placements far outweighs the cash they greatfully receive from the efforts of the Staff and customers at Morden.
