A secret library in one of London's most famous landmarks is available for overnight stays to celebrate World Book Day - for only £7.

The Hidden Library of St Paul's Cathedral, listed exclusively on Airbnb, invites guests to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of literature in this one-of-its-kind experience.

Hosted by Abby Parker of #BookTok's @abbysbooks, guests will get to sleep amongst more than 22,000 books in this literary haven, featuring everything from timeless classics to yet-to-be-released novels from leading authors.

Guests will have access to the reading room, bedroom section and library of the Cathedral itself.

The unique stay begins with a climb up the famous Geometric Staircase, leading into the Hidden Library nestled in the cathedral's secret heart.

The Dean of St Paul's will kickstart the bookish experience with a tour of the Cathedral.

Guests will then get the chance to read upcoming releases like Holly Jackson's The Reappearance of Rachel Price, John Grisham's Camino Ghosts and Kevin Kwan's Lies and Weddings before they hit the shelves.

Dinner at a nearby restaurant will be followed by a night spent curled up in the cosy library.

The next day starts with a refreshing breakfast, leading up to the challenge of climbing the stunning dome of St Paul's Cathedral.

To finish the experience, guests will go home with signed and stamped copies of the unreleased Penguin Random House US books.

The Hidden Library stay is only available for one night on Friday, March 15 and bookings open up on Tuesday, March 12, at 10am GMT at airbnb.com/hiddenlibrary.

The stay caters for two adults.
