The Met Office has predicted warm sunshine and overnight showers for this weekend in London.

People can enjoy long spells of sunshine this weekend, with highs of 22 degrees celsius.

Saturday will become very warm for many after a locally chilly start, although it may feel cooler in coastal districts.

This will be followed by the occasional rain and showers which could spread northeast during the evening with a minimum temperature of seven degrees.

Sunday is predicted to be slightly dull with outbreaks of rain and showers at first, perhaps with thunder.

These conditions should gradually move away to the north, leaving a drier and warmer afternoon.
