Bonfire Night will soon be upon us, and there are a number of events going on in Essex to celebrate the occasion.

It falls on Friday November 5 this year and there are many displays planned around the region.

Also known as Guy Fawkes night, it commemorates the occasion when Fawkes was arrested whilst guarding explosives that had been placed underneath the House of Lords.

We have rounded up several fireworks displays you can attend next week.
