MSOA (middle layer super output areas) data from the Government Coronavirus Dashboard shows the ten areas that have the highest rates in Essex.

This is measured through the case rate per 100,000 people in the seven days to October 20.

Essex overall has a case rate per 100,000 people of 534.9, with 8,012 in total when the data was released.

This is an increase of 1,630 infections on the previous seven-day period.

Four areas have managed to reach a rate of 1,000 cases per 100,000 people.

Galleywood is currently the highest at 1,085.1 cases per the measure of population.
