Police, ambulance crews and London's Air Ambulance attended a crash in Morden yesterday (Thursday).

They were called at approximately 3.35pm to the scene in Bishopsford Road, Morden.

The driver of one of the two cars involved was taken to hospital for treatment.

His condition is not believed to be life threatening.

Two other people were treated and discharged on the scene.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at approximately 15:35hrs on Thursday, 2 September following reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars in Bishopsford Road, Morden.

"Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended – the drive of one of the cars involved – a man, no further details, was taken to hospital for treatment.

"His condition is not thought to be life threatening.

"No reports of any other injuries.

"No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 3.33pm yesterday (2 September) to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Bishopsford Road, Morden.

"We sent an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a clinical team leader.

"We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.

"We treated three people at the scene and took one of them to hospital as a priority.

"The other two patients were discharged at the scene."
