The images of three men who missed court dates regarding crimes they are linked with in South West London were released by the Met Police in Merton today (Sunday, October 11).

All three men are suspected or have been charged with various crimes in the region but failed to show appear before the court when asked and now police are appealing to the public to help find their whereabouts.

The first of the images tweeted out by Merton Police was that of Tommy Gurney, who is being sought by police over a number of alleged crimes including a racist incident and assaulting an emergency worker:

"Gurney is wanted after failing to appear in court after he was charged for an assault in Battersea, criminal damage to a police vehicle, a racially aggravated public order offence and assault on an emergency worker," Merton Police said.

The second was Ampalavanar Sivapathasundaram.

"Sivapathasundaram is wanted after failing to appear at court for the offence of assault earlier this year in Mitcham," police described.

Third among the wanted men whose image was tweeted by police Sunday was one Christopher Cahill, who also skipped a court date.

In this instance, he was due in court "for the offence of possession of Class B drugs for which he was arrested on October 1."

"All three failed to appear at their respective appearances at court, and we would like to arrange another," Merton Police added.

Anyone with information about the above men is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
